PLEEEEASE send me your wife's recipe of her pumpkin muffins. I'm an (ultra) mountain marathon runner myself (living in Germany) AND mom of two teenage boys AND wife of a cyclist - all of us LOVE home made cakes, cookies, etc.

BTW - I've been following your blog quite a while now (having run Big Sur 2007, Boston 2009 - preparing to be ready for WS100 by 2013...). YOU are doing a good job. Thank you!!!

Have you ever consider adopting a really nice 51 year old runner? I mean, gosh, you probably need some help keeping your weight down with all those goodies around, and it's something I'd be glad to help with. Plus, I come complete with a 52 year old runner by my side, and he likes goodies too. We could be sorta live-in grandparents to your kids, thus freeing up your wife to bake more. It all works out!
